Two tiny tools. ~15 hours saved every year.
Oh — and you'll be more secure too. But we'll get to that.
One browser. Every tab. Every password. Every notification. It's chaos — and it costs you time every single day.
Look at the very top-right corner of your Chrome window. See a photo or a coloured circle? That's it.
At the bottom of the dropdown, click Add. Chrome opens a quick setup screen — give it a name and pick a colour.
Each lives in its own window. Switch any time by clicking your avatar — Chrome keeps everything separate automatically.
Remembering dozens of passwords — and changing them when sites get hacked — is genuinely hard. It's not you. It's the system.
Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for 1Password. Look for the blue key icon from AgileBits.
chrome.google.com/webstoreAfter installing, the extension hides in a menu by default. Pin it so the key icon lives right in your toolbar — one click away, always.
Memorise this. 1Password handles everything else. You never need to know another password again.
P@$$w0rd1!Go to dev.fab.day and create an account. When you get to the password field — don't type anything. Watch what happens.
Close the tab. Go back to dev.fab.day. Click the login field. 1Password recognises the site and fills everything instantly.
dev.fab.day requires it. When you see the QR code, don't open Google Authenticator. Add it straight into 1Password instead.
1Password detects the 2FA field on dev.fab.day and fills the 6-digit code automatically. No phone. No switching apps. No racing the clock.
Here's everything now running silently in the background.
